About
A frequency of gratitude
Pao Pamaki is a Bali-based multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, vocalist, teacher and music producer known for her soulful presence and magnetic live performances. Her work is rooted in somatic awareness and inspired by the years she spent immersed in Indigenous traditions across South America. Her music channels gratitude, reverence and the magic of ceremony.
Her concerts invite you into a world medicine music journey, deep into presence and joy, traversing rhythms, languages and improvisation. Sharing original compositions alongside traditional music from cultures that have touched her heart, Pao offers music as a prayer, a celebration of life and a way to remember what truly matters.
"Her concerts are not just performances, they are living rituals, rich in beauty and connection."
The Journey
Pao's path has unfolded over more than ten years of live performance across Europe, South America and Asia, including four European tours with The Hanuman Project, and appearances at Medicine Festival, BaliSpirit Festival, Colibri Spirit Festival, Unyted Festival, Ancient Trance Festival, the Barcelona Yoga Conference, Alegria Festival, Yoga del Mar Spirit Fest and Garden of Light.
Her training spans diverse musical traditions, including Indian singing with Tahir Qawwal and performing with Ihali, the first all-women Qawwali band. Since 2021 she has served as musician for LivinInspired Yoga School's teacher trainings in Bali, and as a vocal coach guiding others to find their own voice.
Collaborations
Alongside her own recordings and performances, Pao has shared the stage and studio with a wide circle of musicians and facilitators drawn to the same world of ceremony and sound.
